The Plaistow Public Library is seeking a friendly, energetic, and organized individual to join our Circulation Team.

Schedule: 15 hrs/ week, including one evening per week and one Saturday a month
Compensation: $12.35 to $15.00/ hour, depending on experience
Deadline: Open until filled

This is a 60-day temporary position with high potential of becoming a regular (or "permanent") position.

We are also actively seeking to enlarge our pool of substitutes. So, please apply even if you're not able to commit to a regular schedule at this time.  This is a great way to to pick up some extra hours, keep your resume refreshed, and work with some great people!

As a Team Member you help define our patrons’ experience of the library. You greet people warmly and provide helpful, courteous service in a variety of ways – facilitating circulation of library materials; offering helpful advice and information about our collections, programs and services; helping out with patrons’ basic computer needs; ensuring that your work area is tidy and well-organized; renewing our displays with fresh materials as needed; chipping in when larger programs require an extra hand or two; and administering our policies with fairness and tact.
