Responses to children and young people perpetrating VAWG

Thank you for accessing our national survey of children’s services, youth justice services, and policing.  We are a team of researchers based at the Child and Woman Abuse Studies Unit at London Metropolitan University and the Centre of expertise on child sexual abuse, who have been funded by the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF).

We are trying to understand and map current approaches to identifying, assessing and responding to violence against women and girls (VAWG) by children and young people aged 10–17.  This is the language currently being used by our funder, YEF, to cover things such as harmful sexual behaviour, sexual exploitation and teenage relationship abuse towards other children and young people. We recognise that this language isn’t used by everyone, and we are also interested in hearing about what language you use when talking about these issues.

The survey should take around 20 minutes to complete, depending how much you want to say. If you have any queries about completing it, please contact one of the researchers, Jo Lovett (j.lovett@londonmet.ac.uk) or Kairika Karsna (kairika.karsna@csacentre.org.uk).

Thanks so much for your help.
