Parental support survey
We are currently seeking support for a new school in our area.
(The information you supply will remain confidential and not be shared with anybody except the DfE as evidence of support. Your indication of preference is not binding and has no bearing on the Local Authority admissions process.)
We propose to open a secondary school for 11-16 year olds. Da Vinci School will be open to all children and specialise in proven dyslexia friendly approaches. We aim to open in September 2022 or 2023 for Year 7 and later we hope to add a primary section as demand for places increases.
Our vision is for our students to be the best that they can be: academically, beyond the curriculum and personally. Our curriculum will be designed as a learning journey in order to enable all children and young people to excel by building upon their strengths and successes.
Although the intention is for the school to open north of the Wrotham area, we expect to be able to offer places to children from many surrounding towns including Dartford, Gravesend, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Swanley and Tonbridge.
At this point we are gathering evidence of demand from parents who will have children eligible for secondary school entry in September 2022, 2023 or 2024 (currently in Y2, Y3 or Y4) and who would consider this school for their child. Please fill in one survey per child.
