NICU/SCN Experience

Parent/Baby Separation during NICU/SCN stay

Being away from your baby whilst they are being cared for in NICU or SCN can be extremely difficult. Sadly, parents in Australia are often unnecessarily separated from their newborns whilst they remain in hospital and are unable to stay close to them for various reasons.
There are ways to help this issue and your feedback is important.
We want to hear your experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We are also asking families to assist us in influencing positive change by please writing a letter to your local Federal and/or State member of parliament about your own experience.

If you also require support, please reach us on our 24-Hour Family Support Line, NurtureLine, on 1300 622 243 or visit www.miraclebabies.org.au for more information on our other support services and resources.
