Youth Action is looking for young people to be involved in a working group to help us review content for the summit and participate in training to carry out roles on the day of the event. There will be two online working group meetings members will be required to attend in June.
Western Sydney University is hosting a Strengthening Social Cohesion Conference from 3 - 5 July. We are really excited as they have invited Youth Action to partner with them to host a satellite event for young people 12 - 24yrs on Wednesday 3 July.
This youth event will bring together over 100 young people from high schools and local youth services across Western Sydney to explore what they think needs to happen to create more cohesive communities in Western Sydney. Insights from this event will be distilled into clear priorities, with recommendations shaped by these young people regarding how social cohesion can be improved in their communities.
