Propose a session

The Utah Association for Area Agencies on Aging (U4A) invites you to submit a workshop proposal for the 2021 Virtual Elder Justice Conference, to be held on May 13th via videoconference. The conference’s theme is “Envisioning a Promising Future.”

We invite proposals for sessions that promote innovation, best practices, and peer learning in the following areas:

Active & Healthy Aging: senior centers, place-based programing, combating isolation, and promoting health and wellness among older individuals.

Caregiving & In-Home Services: supportive programs and services for caregivers and older adults who benefit from home and community-based care.

Community Engagement & Volunteering: volunteer programs, civic engagement opportunities, beneficial partnerships, and advocacy for older adults.

Preserving Independence: transportation and nutrition programs, Meals on Wheels, and opportunities that promote aging in place.

Elder Justice, Etcetera: all other salient topics related to serving seniors, including creating livable communities, meeting the needs of diverse populations, and ensuring justice for older adults.

You will be notified within four weeks of your proposal’s status. Please hold the date of May 18th until you are notified of the status of your submission.
