The goal of Launch Fuquay-Varina (LaunchFV) is to develop successful Fuquay-Varina small businesses and entrepreneurs by offering access to resources and community support.

Candidates participating in the LaunchFV program are committing to a 12 week program which includes Orientation, 12 weeks of classes provided by Wake Tech, and a 3-day weekend capstone project called "Innovate Fuquay-Varina — Start-up Weekend" (InnovateFV Weekend).

Volunteer mentors play a major role in the success of our candidates and their respective businesses/startups, by lending their expertise and skillsets during the InnovateFV Weekend (17-19 Nov. 2023). You will be helping small businesses and startups get launched in a weekend.

  • 10-5 p.m., Sat., Nov. 18th | Teams Continue to Work with Mentors
  • 12-5 p.m., Sun., Nov. 19th | Teams Continue to Work with Mentors
  • 6-9 p.m., Sun. Nov. 19th | Capstone Presentations & Graduation (friends, family, and media invited)
