The Clean Leadership Professional Internship Program (6 – 12 month stream), generously funded through Environment and Climate Change’s Science Horizons Program, is a wage subsidy initiative to help recent graduates acquire work experience in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) positions with an environmental focus. The program provides a wage subsidy of 50% (to a maximum of $15,000 ) to help employers anywhere in Canada hire the talent they need and help increase the supply of highly qualified professionals in the environmental sector. The ideal end goal of the program is for the intern to be hired on full-time or decide to return to academia to further their studies in the STEM field.
If you are interested in being an intern, please fill out the application below and our internship team will be in touch with you within 7 business days.

Please be aware that this funding stream is now closed. Stay tuned for updates in the new year!
