The Community Leadership Institute (CLI) is the premier national training event for community volunteers from across the country. ROC USA® brings ROC leaders together throughout the CLI and presents customized trainings, networking events, and opportunities to develop community organizing, Board, and business skills.
 
Program Participation: The CLI kicks off with a registration at 4 pm on Thursday, October 12th in Los Angeles, California. The program runs from 7:30 am Friday through 10 am Sunday with times for breaks, meals and sleeping.  ROC USA is planning a special Strategic Planning event on Sunday evening and Monday morning. It involves the ROC USA Board of Directors.  We will arrange the agenda and flights so you can return home on Monday.

Program Cost: There is no cost to ROC USA participants. The CLI is sponsored by NeighborWorks® America and ROC USA (ROC USA will cover the cost of “on your own” meals, transportation to and from the airport, and the additional charge for a single room, if desired.)

Selection: Each ROC USA Team will consist of 8 participants selected from resident-owned communities supported by a ROC USA® Network Certified TA Provider. The selection committee will review all applications and applicants will be notified no later than the week of July 16.
