IOE Survey on the Future of Work

There are 4 known global trends related to the Future of Work that impact the workplace and on business: 1) AI and technological advances, 2) changing demographics (youth bulges, ageing population), 3) climate change, and 4) globalisation. The IOE together with the ILO identified a 5th global trend - shortage of skilled labour. Employers are increasingly finding it difficult to find workers with the right skills to do a job. The results will feed and contribute to the overall policy direction of the IOE on the Future of Work and help members and company partners harness the opportunities which come with it.
