 10-month Employment Positions are being considered for all NOSP positions. These positions would run from January 1 to December 31 of each calendar year, with July and August off without pay. They would be considered fulltime/permanent positions. The Labour Management Committee has just initiated discussions around the creation of these positions. Terms and conditions are still to be negotiated. We are asking for your feedback to assist with the successful negotiation of a Letter of Understanding to be added to our Collective Agreement regarding these 10 month positions. 

This consideration will be a one-year pilot, and is in the beginning stages of creation. Successful applicants would participate in the full time benefit package as per our Collective Agreement.

Employees will accumulate service and seniority based on the actual number of hours worked.
