We are happy to invite you to the long awaited presentation and discussion with experts of the “Legal Environment for Philanthropy in Europe”, focusing on cross-border philanthropy. At the event we will launch the country profiles of 27 EU member states – based on the data and analysis provided by experts such as academics and practitioners in the European philanthropy field and beyond.

We will be guided by Oonagh Breen, Professor of Law at the Sutherland School of Law, University College Dublin, and invited national experts to discuss cross-border philanthropy and the latest legal trends and developments in Europe.
 
The panelists include: 
  •  Anja Stanitzke (Germany) – lawyer at VolkswagenStiftung
 
  • Vera Móra (Hungary) – director of the Hungarian Environmental Partnership Foundation – Okotars and Hungarian Donors Forum (Effekteam)
 
  • Wino van Veen (the Netherlands) – professor at Faculty of Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a senior counsel in Baker McKenzie's Amsterdam
 
  • Ludwig Forrest (Belgium) - Head of International Philanthropy at the King Baudouin Foundation
