Thank you for your interest in the upcoming study on experiences of Lewy body dementia (LBD) families at the end of life.

There are two forms of Lewy body dementia: One form is called Parkinson's disease dementia, in which a person who is first diagnosed with Parkinson's disease later (usually several years or more) develops dementia. The other form is called dementia with Lewy bodes (DLB), where a person develops dementia well before or within the same year they develop changes in movement resembling Parkinson's disease. Over time, both disorders affect thinking, movement, behavior and sleep.

This study will focus on DLB. If you are a friend, family member or caregiver of a person who was diagnosed with DLB and who passed away within the last 5 years, sharing your personal experiences may help improve end of life care for others with this disorder.
