FTMI Application 2020

Launched in 2013, by Jacobsen, the Future Turf Managers Initiative provides opportunities for deputy and assistant greenkeepers to develop the skills required to become a successful manager in an ever changing industry.

Applications are now open for the Future Turf Managers Initiative 2020, taking place from Tuesday 10th - Thursday 12th March 2020 at Ransomes Jacobsen Ipswich.

It should be noted that:
  • To be eligible for the Future Turf Managers Initiative 2020 you will have at least 3 years experiance working full time as a greenkeeper.
  • You will require a Nominator - someone to support your application. This could be your manager, supervisor, regional chairman, club manager or a trade representative.
  • International GCSAI members may apply, however they will have to meet any travel costs associated when attending.
For your chance to be one of the candidates selected for the Future Turf Managers Initiative 2020 follow the steps outlined below.
  1. Complete and submit this application form (it should take approximately 15-20 minutes). Pay close attention to the word count allowance for each answear, this will be considered as part of the judging criteria.
  2. Your nominator will then be sent an email with a web link to complete the nomination form. Please ensure the email address you provide is correct.
  3. Your application will be complete when both your application form and the nomination form have been recieved.
The deadline for your application to be completed is the 18th October 2019.

Your application will be reviewed by a panel from Jacobsen and GCSAI and you will be informed by mid December 2019, if you have been successful.

21.To complete your application, you must provide details of a nominator. This can be your supervisor, manager, club manager, GCSAI Regional Chairman or a sales representative. Once your application has been recieved an email will be sent to your nominator to validate it.
