APPLICATION INTRODUCTION
The Seraphina Awards Luncheon is a fundraising initiative presented by WICT NY that honors professionals in the cable and telecommunications industry. The honorees will have exhibited WICT Touchstones of Leadership such as being a CATALYST for change, being FEARLESS and INSPIRING others. They will have demonstrated hard work and dedication to their careers and served as mentors, enabling others to achieve success.
Awards will be presented to five professionals:
Rising Star (2 female recipients) – a talented young professional with high potential and demonstrated drive for career advancement and personal growth. She goes beyond her job responsibilities and contributes to helping and improving work conditions for colleagues or for the wider community. (Approximately 5+ years of experience)
Executive Champion (2 all-gender recipient) – a senior executive who has an exceptional track record of advocating for the advancement of women in the industry. This professional mentors women above and below their career level and develops future women leaders in their profession or community. This person exemplifies positive change and advancement in their career. (Approximately 12+ years of experience)
Seraphina (1 female recipient) – a mid-to-senior level professional who embodies the characteristics of Seraphina: fierce and unceasing in the pursuit of her career. She is a dedicated mentor and sponsor who is committed to the growth and advancement of women in the industry or community. She has enabled a legacy of strong female leaders. (Approximately 8+ years of experience)
Eligibility Criteria & Instructions
> Applications are due on: Friday, March 20, 2020.
> Nominees must be professionals within the cable and telecommunications industry. Applications are open to both members and non-members of WICT NY.
> Applications will be reviewed by the WICT NY Executive Board and winners selected. Honorees will be announced via email and on www.wictny.org on Friday, March 27, 2020.
