This Snapshot Research concerns environmental, social, and governance (ESG) for the Digital Enterprise. Environmental criteria consider how an organization performs as a steward of nature (e.g., energy usage, waste, pollution, natural resource conservation). Social criteria consider how an organization manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and the community where it operates. Governance criteria consider an organization’s leadership, executive pay, audits, internal controls, and shareholder rights.
