Urban Agriculture Conference: Exploring the Power of Community and Social Innovation

Hosted by The Barrett Centre of Innovation in Sustainable Urban Agriculture and presented in Collaboration with RBC, the Urban Agriculture Conference: Exploring the Power of Community and Social Innovation, is a two-day conference to be held in April 2024.  The Urban Agriculture Conference will delve into fostering connections and strengthening the networks of attendees in order to facilitate the adoption and strengthening of Urban Agriculture in their communities.

The first day will have a vendor fair and dinner with a short speaker program and the second day will have a full schedule of speakers and workshops.

The conference will build upon the theme of community and social innovation through the pillars of Policy, Education, Food Security, and Innovation.  The goal of the Urban Agriculture Conference is for attendees and facilitators to work through collaborative sessions, developing potential answers to the question “How can community and social innovation create the space for Urban Agriculture to succeed?”
