Upland Objective Design Standards
Visual Preference Survey

We Want to Hear from You!
Introduction

To comply with recent changes in State law and implement Housing Element Program 8, the City of Upland is inviting community members to help shape new Objective Design Standards for future multifamily residential development. Community input will guide these standards so they reflect local design priorities and complement the character of Upland’s neighborhoods.
Purpose of the survey

The purpose of this survey is to provide the community with opportunities to share design preferences as it relates to multifamily residential projects. The feedback from this survey will help guide the preparation of the objective design standards.
What are Objective Design Standards?

The survey is intended for local business and property owners in Casa de Oro. With the approval of the business or property owner the business or property would be assessed to fund supplemental services, activities, and infrastructure improvements beyond those provided by the County.
Where do the Objective Design Standards Apply?

The objective design standards will apply to all multifamily zones (see map below).
