UpToDate is an evidence-based clinical decision support resource, trusted worldwide by healthcare practitioners to help them make the right decisions at the point of care. The evidence-based treatment recommendations are based on the latest clinical studies and enable providers to quickly and confidently treat a variety of complex cases. Family Physicians have credited the tool with improving outcomes, creation of capacity and facilitation of continuity of care. UpToDate provides patient handouts bolstering patients’ adherence to the treatment plans and reducing repeat visits. This online tool can be used by any member of the team interested in receiving timely information at the point of care.
