Proposed Mobility Hub Locations

University of Utah Campus Planning is conducting a study to design and explore placement of mobility hubs in our area of analysis, which includes Health Sciences, Research Park, the VA Medical Center, and Main campus.

Mobility hubs are facilities that help get people where they need to go and make it easier to transfer from one form of transportation (like walking or biking) to another (like taking the bus or an Uber/Lyft ). The goal of a mobility hub is to provide convenient and comfortable transitions between all transportation modes. Mobility hubs can also be a place to shop, eat, and socialize.

By analyzing existing land uses, transportation networks, and available sites, the Planning Team has identified three high-priority sites for mobility hub development. These include:
  • The area surrounding the Medical TRAX Station,
  • the area surrounding the South Campus TRAX Station,
  • and 200 South (between 1300 East and University St)
We would love your input on these three mobility hub sites, including how you would use the site, what amenities you'd like to see, and what additional transportation options you would use if available.

This survey should only take about 5-10 minutes of your time to complete and is essential to creating mobility hubs that meet your needs!
