Humans of UofL
We have launched a campaign called Humans of UofL which will feature students, alumni, fans and friends of UofL, telling their story (leading up to or after UofL, not their time at UofL).

Much like Humans of New York (HONY), we want to read about your journey in life, leading up to UofL. The stories do not need to be about UofL but should focus on the challenges, lessons-learned or journeys you have taken to get here.

There are no limits or minimums to your story. Please submit your information below. You also have the option to use just your first name when the story is published or use first+last:

Question Title

* 1. Your Information (the student, former student or faculty member)

Question Title

* 3. Tell us about you (enter "NA" if not applicable)

Question Title

* 4.

Tell us about your path or journey leading up to the University of Louisville (no minimum and no limit).

Your content may be shared on the UofL Blog and promoted on social media or other UofL marketing platforms. We reserve the right to publish (or not) your submission. Please do NOT submit if you do not want your comments published along with your first and last name (we will not publish your contact or other information).

Not sure what to write? Here are OPTIONAL questions to help you get started:

Question Title

* 5.
  • Where have you lived prior to coming to UofL?  (What did you learn in each location)
  • Prior to UofL, what was your greatest challenge or the greatest lesson you learned?
  • How did your family or friends support your journey to UofL and who had the most impact?
  • What sports, clubs, activities or programs helped you get through middle and high school? How or why did they have such an impact on your life? What advice would you give others about participating?
  • If you are a first-generation college student; explain how you made it to college, some of the challenges along the way and what advice you would give to other kids who may be interested in becoming the first college graduate in their family?
  • What makes you extraordinary? Everyone is different; what makes you uniquely different and how has it made your life, or the lives of those around you, better.
