Welcome to the University of Glasgow Travel Survey 2015

Please take the time to participate in the 2015 travel survey which has been designed to assist the University in understanding how you travel to the University and between campuses. This information will allow the University to better plan for the future and evaluate the effectiveness of the measures already in place to encourage you to travel sustainably.

The University works with consultancy Peter Brett Associates (PBA) to review its current Strategic Transport and Travel Plan and the surveys are an integral element of this and the Estates Strategy. More information on these Plans can be found at: www.gla.ac.uk/services/estates/sustainability/travel/ and www.gla.ac.uk/services/estates/about/strategy/

The survey should not take longer than 10 minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous. The results will be published and made available online.

Deadline for participation is the 30th October 2015. If you wish to enter into a prize draw to win one of six £50 National Book Token gift cards then please provide your details at the end of the survey.

Please email travelplanning@glasgow.ac.uk if you have any questions about the survey or generally relating to travel and transport.

Thank you for participating.

The information you provide will be used by the University of Glasgow (the 'data controller') and a third party consultant, Peter Brett Associates LLP, (the 'data processor') in order to help inform the Travel Plan development in the form of anonymous reports. Your information will be held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will be treated as confidential except where the law requires it to be disclosed. Personal information used for the purposes of the prize draw (name and email address) will be stored separately from the survey responses and deleted once the prize draw winner is announced.
