Unity Walk in the Park 2019 Volunteer Registration Form

Thank you for choosing to join The Unity Army and volunteer at this year’s Unity Walk in the Park held at Sydney Park, St Peters and Stuart Park, North Wollongong on the 25th of August 2019 for Parkinson's NSW.

Parkinson’s NSW will provide for you:

- A volunteer pack on arrival including a volunteer event T-shirt, volunteer ID lanyard, totes bag and water bottle
- Free meal voucher for Sydney volunteers
- Certificate of appreciation
- A free online fundraising page and to be eligible for fundraising incentives as per the events terms and conditions
- A specific job description
- Induction on the day and specific task training.
- Suitable equipment and facilities to carry out your role
- Opportunities for professional experiences and social interaction with staff & volunteers.
- A super fun day while doing something for a great cause.

Parkinson’s NSW asks that you:

- You will be available to volunteer on the day from 6:00am till 2:00pm approx..
- You have checked on how to get to the location of the event during the above times by personal or public transport options.
- Choose a role within your abilities and interests.
- Notify Parkinson’s NSW well in advance if you can no longer make it on the day. Things happen, and we understand.
- Conduct yourself in a safe, appropriate and ethical manner at all times.
- Know your limitation and do not go beyond them.
- Consent to the free publication and/or use in any form of media whatsoever of your name, photograph, image, voice, interview, appearance, statement or otherwise.
- Provide a copy of a valid passport or visa with permission to volunteer in Australia, police checks, working with children checks, first aid certificates or other certificates if required for you role.
- Have fun and ask questions if needed. Remember we are here for you and you are part of the Unity Army team!
