After months of conversations, lunch gatherings, and organizing, we Felton Institute employees have officially formed our union: United Felton Workers! Now that we have won our union at the Felton Institute, it is time to start the process of bargaining our first contract (or collective bargaining agreement). Just as we needed to hear from as many Felton employees as possible during our union campaign, it is crucial that as many in-unit employees participate in the bargaining process. Right now, the next steps we need to take in order to best prepare for bargaining include:
- Filling out the Bargaining Survey (below) to determine what priorities and changes you want to negotiate for our first contract.
- Nominating or self-nominating Felton employees from across departments for our Bargaining Team (also below, immediately following the Bargaining Survey).
