Unit 11 20/20 Education and Training Program Survey

The Bargaining Unit 11 Memorandum of Understanding with the State includes a provision, Section 13.31, which provides in relevant part, “the State, where fiscally feasible, shall provide 20/20 programs for Unit 11 employees. 20/20 programs involve employee participation in a formal educational curriculum up to twenty (20) hours per week without loss of compensation when the employee would otherwise be scheduled for work.”

In order to determine the level of interest in such a program, to help departments determine the viability of such programs, and to provide feedback on what such a program might look like, SEIU Local 1000 and the State have jointly prepared a brief survey and request all Bargaining Unit 11 employees complete and submit the survey by December 19, 2013.
