Cross-sectoral Social Dialogue project “Eliminating violence and harassment in the world of work” – VS/2021/0041-

UNI Europa Survey Questionnaire on Mental Health – October 2022

Violence and harassment at work are a major and growing problem across the EU most also reflected in psychological violence, which can often be invisible in the workplace.
Violence and harassment are both a gender equality issue and an issue of occupational safety and health, with serious implications for workers’ health and well-being.*

UNI Europa would like to invite you to cooperate to this online survey which is part of a new research project being conducted by UNI Europa and its partners as part of the EU project “Cross-sectoral Social Dialogue project “Eliminating violence and harassment in the world of work – VS/2021/0041”-.
The survey would aim to find out more about the problem of gender-based violence and impact on women workers. We also would like to address the growing problems of third-party violence and harassment and domestic violence working from home particularly prevalent during covid 19 lockdown periods.

The objectives of the survey are to:
  • Evaluate the impact of the pandemic on Gender Based Violence in the world of work and on female workers
  • Evaluate the impact of European social dialogue instruments and occupational safety and health legislation and regulations (European and National levels) on the building awareness and tackling violence and harassment affecting women in the world of work
  • Evaluate psychosocial risk factors of third-party violence and teleworking, especially the impact of “home being the new workplace” including the consequences on mental health/wellbeing.
Information about the survey

The online survey is addressed to trade unions and employers who are either jointly or individually involved in preventing gender-based violence and harassment, domestic violence impacting the workplace and third-party violence as part of broader health and safety measures.

  • Commerce
  • Gaming
