Please join us for a makeup training with the UW CEL. Most principals participated in this training during the August Kickstart Meeting. This one day workshop will lay an important foundation upon which we will build in subsequent trainings with the UW during the November and March All Principal meetings. This training is appropriate for school principals, assistant principals, aspiring principals, and other instructional leaders.
 
Objectives:
  • Develop an understanding of the principal’s role in leading instruction
  • Begin to develop a shared vision, understanding, and language for student engagement in our schools
  • Begin to develop a process for observing and analyzing instruction
  • Develop a plan for prioritizing time for classroom observation
