(the) Unruly Theatre Project is The Alden’s professional teen improv company dedicated to bringing comedic performances to the community. Members audition to be in the company for one season and are paid for each performance or workshop they do for the community. 
 
UTP’s season is late-September - May. Company members rehearse twice per week on Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Old Firehouse Center. Performances will be at local venues such as art galleries, the Old Firehouse Center, cafés and more.  
 
Because UTP is a professional opportunity, attendance is crucial and company members serve different roles including marketing, stage management and photography. 
 
9th-12th graders only.

Tuesday-Wednesday, Sept. 26 and 27, 7-9 p.m. open auditions 
Thursday, Sept. 28, beginning at 7p.m.: Call Backs/Interviews 
All at The McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave, McLean VA 22101
 
Pre-registration for open auditions is recommended. Participants only need to register for one date and the audition will be the entire two hours. Prepared monologues are not needed. Headshots and resumes are not necessary but are welcome.
