On May 22, the Aspen Institute Sports & Society Program hosted its latest Future of Sports event, "Future of the U.S. Olympic Movement: Reimagining Goals Beyond Medals." In the wake of the gymnastics sexual abuse scandal, we spoke with U.S. Olympic Committee CEO Sarah Hirshland and a panel of experts about USOC reforms to keep athletes safe, athlete voices, mental health, and the USOC's role in grassroots youth sports.
