ONLINE Application Writing Workshop Series - NSF EPSCoR Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) Academic Year 2020-2021 Registration Greetings!Thank you for your interest in the Application Writing Workshop for the NSF EPSCoR Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). The workshop is hosted in a series of three online sessions for students from NSHE institutions looking for guidance in completing their research scholarship application. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in each of the three virtual sessions. Accessing these sessions at a desktop or laptop computer is critical for viewing session presentations and sharing application for editing.Virtual session content will include: Session 1: Learning more about the UROP application, eligibility, roles and responsibilities and connecting with potential mentors/mentees. Session 2: Working with experienced writing center staff to draft and edit UROP applications., while learning proper writing techniques for future applications. *Students should come prepared with a research concept/idea. Session 3: Finalizing UROP applications through a peer editing process while being lead by experienced writing center staff. *Students should come prepared with a strong draft of their UROP scholarship application. The UROP Application Writing Workshops will be held online for all Nevada System of Higher Education campuses.
