Integrative Learning Assessment

TAMIU students should demonstrate the ability to achieve competency in the multidisciplinary degree courses. Your class has been selected to be included in the assessment of the integrative leaning value rubric.

Integrative learning is an understanding and a disposition that a student builds across the curriculum and co-curriculum, from making simple connections among ideas and experiences to synthesizing and transferring learning to new, complex situations within and beyond the campus.

There are 4 criteria to the assess Integrative learning:
1. Connections to Experience; 2. Transfer; 3. Integrated Communication; 4. Reflection and Self-Assessment.

Students will demonstrate their competency for each criteria on a scale of 1-4.
4= CAPSTONE. 3= MILESTONE. 2= MILESTONE. and 1=BENCHMARK.
