Share Your Voice: Should the Union Colony Civic Center Keep Its Name or Explore a New One?

On April 21, 2025, the Union Colony Civic Center Advisory Board—a group chosen by City Council to support the UCCC’s mission—was asked to explore whether the UCCC should get a new name.
This survey is part of that effort. We want to know if the current name still fits, or if a new name would better reflect Greeley’s growth and the UCCC’s role as a major performing arts venue for the city and surrounding areas.
The survey only takes a few minutes to complete. Thanks for sharing your opinion—it will help guide future conversations.
1.Before taking this survey, how familiar were you with the Union Colony Civic Center (UCCC)?(Required.)
2.How many total shows do you see at the UCCC on average per year?(Required.)
3.What feelings or ideas should the venue’s name reflect? (Select up to 3)(Required.)
4.Which of these naming styles do you prefer? (Select all that apply)(Required.)
5.In your opinion, does the current name reflect the facility’s purpose as an arts, cultural center, performance arts, and community gathering space?(Required.)
6.Which of the following best reflects your view on the UCCC’s name? This is a research question and not a vote. Your input helps guide our understanding.(Required.)
7.Do you have any suggestions for what the name should be—or reasons to keep it the same? Any other feedback we didn’t mention?(Required.)
