UCAN Conference 2017 – Presentation Proposals
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the UCAN Conference 2017. We are accepting proposals and abstracts for both oral and poster presentations on research and innovative programs and services. The conference will be held in the Marriott Library, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 12, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Oral presentations will be 30 minutes in length including time for questions and answers. Posters will be 3’x4’ and will be on display for the duration of the conference. A 60-minute poster session will provide opportunities for questions and answers.
We will accept submissions from January 15, 2017 to February 15, 2017. Please limit your proposals to 1000 words. A team of UCAN members will review the submissions without author information. We will notify the presenters via e-mail by February 24, 2017.
Any topic related to improving cancer prevention and control is eligible. We request submissions relating to the specific areas of focus identified by UCAN in developing the Utah Cancer Control Plan. These topics include prevention and early detection of skin cancer, healthy lifestyles, affordable access to health services, and cancer survivorship.
