3.The Federal Government launches a subsidy program to help public libraries upgrade their collections. The town library’s application asks to include copies of the Bible and the Koran.
4.A city subsidizes Dial-A-Ride for senior citizens. An elderly couple asks the dispatcher to send a van to take them to church on Sunday.
5.A state scholarship program for high-achieving college graduates receives an application requesting post-graduate tuition assistance at seminary, or at Notre Dame.
