I enjoy well-developed, very safe travel destinations like London, Italy, or Islands of the Caribbean

I enjoy well-developed destinations, but enjoy getting off the beaten path when possible (discovering London by bicycle, for instance)

I like moderately developed destinations where there is still good infrastructure, where traveling is a little grittier and remote but still quite safe (like Patagonia, Chile or Mongolia)

I enjoy off-the-beaten-path destinations where I can get unique experiences and am okay with a little bit of inherent safety risk (like eastern China or the Caucus mountains of Georgia)
