Volunteer to help prevent child abuse and neglect!
Tips for Kids is a team-based fundraising event that takes place during Roof Sit to support the Community Healing Center’s programs, which focus on treating and preventing child abuse and neglect. It’s a fun and rewarding way to make a real difference in the lives of children in our community.
During your 2-3-hour shift, you and your team will wash windshields and collect tips in return. Each location needs 8-10 volunteers. After your shift, the funds raised will be taken to the Roof Sit headquarters, where your team’s total will be posted on our website! Teams typically raise between $250 and $500 during a shift. It’s a rewarding experience, and your team will receive plenty of recognition for supporting children in need.
Last year, Tips for Kids raised nearly $10,000 towards Roof Sit’s overall fundraising goal, and this year our goal is $13,000. The weekend fundraising goal for Roof Sit is $90,000 with all of the money raised staying right here in Southwest Michigan, supporting kids in our community!
