Potential Participant,

The OUTD3511 Research Design class, in the School of Outdoor Recreation, Parks & Tourism, is conducting a study on 2016 ThunderCon participants and their satisfaction pertaining to the event. The study will determine what activities/events brought them to ThunderCon and what they enjoyed and disliked about the event in order to create a more successful future even and broaden ThunderCon’s exposure in the Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario area.

You are invited to voluntarily participate in this study, which will take about 10 minutes to complete. You may choose to stop participating and decline to answer any question at any time. Individual responses will be summarized and not identified in the results or with any personal information. Any publication or presentation of the data will not identify individual responses and therefore, there is no apparent risk for participating in the study. The study data will only be used by the researchers of this project. The data from this study will be stored at Lakehead University, under lock and key, for five years, after which point it will be destroyed. Please note that this study is endorsed by ThunderCon.
