Project Introduction

Welcome to the Three Mile Creek Confluence Planning and Design Project Public Design Exercise! The Three Mile Creek Confluence Comprehensive Plan and Design project's goal is to:

"Develop a holistic and resilient plan that addresses current and future impacts from the use of the Three Mile Creek confluence area while providing ecologically diverse and naturally sustainable habitats, improved water quality, trail connectivity, recreational access, and an education regarding our most valuable natural resource: water."

The City of Glenwood Springs has hired a consultant team led by Wright Water Engineers to complete this project. This team has specialists in river design and engineering, riparian re-vegetation, and landscape architecture/outdoor recreation.

The Team and the City held the first public meeting on July 20th, 2019. The second and final public meeting will be held at the Sopris Elementary School cafeteria on Monday December 2 from 5:30-7:30pm. The following online exercise mimics what will be done at the Public Meeting, and offers people unable to attend the meeting the opportunity to still submit feedback.

The information from this survey will be used by the team to finalize the preliminary design.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your input and thoughts!
