As Shaker Square approaches its 90th birthday, Cleveland neighborhood partners have teamed up with the Square's owners and a team of regional and national consultants to envision the area’s future. 'This is SHSQ' is specifically focused on improvements to the shared common areas inside and surrounding the landmark transit-oriented development (TOD), as well as how the Square connects with adjacent neighborhoods.

In June of 2019, the project team completed a nine-month public visioning and strategic implementation process that logged more than 2,500 points of contact with Square residents, merchants, and stakeholders. This resulting consensus vision was shared with the public on June 30th and will continue to evolve as the project advance toward implementation. THANK YOU for taking time to share your feedback.
