The Town of Andover is currently exploring several options related to textile recycling and is seeking feedback from residents. You may be more familiar with recycling aluminum, paper, glass, and other items. But did you know that clothing and other textiles can be recycled too?

Textile recycling is the process by which old clothing and other textiles are recovered for reuse or material recovery. A textile is any item made from cloth or an artificial fabric like vinyl. Textiles are used for clothing, linens, bedding, upholstery, curtains, carpets, and other items.
