We Want to Hear From You!
The City of Temecula is excited to share the Draft Land Use Report, a key tool for considering how our community might evolve over the next 20 years.
The Draft Land Use Report is part of the City of Temecula’s General Plan Update and shows possible land use ideas in selected parts of the City. Since the General Plan Update began in 2025, the City has conducted community outreach, including open houses, surveys, stakeholder interviews, and General Plan Advisory Committee meetings, and has prepared background materials to help inform the process. The Draft Land Use Report is one of those materials and was prepared as part of the larger General Plan Update process.
This survey asks for your feedback on four Study Areas and eight individual sites identified in the Draft Land Use Report. Because Temecula is largely built out, the focus is on strategic reinvestment and targeted areas where land use changes could strengthen existing neighborhoods, businesses, jobs, and public spaces.
Your input will help inform the Proposed Land Use Map and future steps in the General Plan Update, including environmental review and public hearings. No changes are final until the City Council adopts the updated General Plan, and the current Land Use Map remains in effect until that time.
