Technorama Station Technology Survey 2024 |
1. Welcome!
This is the national survey of technology used by community broadcasters in Australia.
Thank you for being part of this amazing sector.
The survey will take around 45-55 minutes to complete. Please take the time to complete the survey as accurately as you can. If you have your asset or equipment register handy, you will be able to answer a number of questions relating to equipment in your studios, master control room, Transmission sites, OB kits, and details of all brands, models, and preferred suppliers etc. hence you should finish the survey quicker.

- support decisions for CMTO training
- help guide you in preparing CBF grant applications
- provide the CBAA with valuable information about how the sector makes use of technology.

- guide stations in technology choices
- help stations make informed technology selections
- improve the quality of grant applications
- support stations in formulating budgets and equipment replacement strategies.
If you are involved in more than one station, feel free to submit a survey for each station, or just your primary station.
If you are not involved with a station, we are still interested in your views, so respond to any questions that are applicable.
Submit your survey within the first 30 days to go into the draw for a prize for your station valued at $100.
Submit your completed survey by 31st August to go into the second draw.
At the end of the survey, there will be some identifying questions, these are optional.

The information will be required for you to be entered into the prize draw, and for data quality assurance.
The very last two questions ask you about your reaction to the survey itself and provide an opportunity to add anything that's been missed.
