In 2017, The Board approved development of a new Technologies Framework. 
An analysis of BSSS curriculum indicates that three frameworks are connected by similar conceptual content.  The design process underpins the Information Technology, Design and Technology and Fashion & Textiles Frameworks (refer to Attachment 1).  In all three, students learn to create, design, develop and produce innovative solutions.  They manage projects from the identification of needs or opportunities to conception and realisation.  

The current Information Technology, Fashion & Textiles, Design and Technology frameworks will not be redeveloped.

INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this questionnaire is to enable individuals and groups to provide feedback on the Technologies Framework.

Feedback is sought on the following:
• The rationale and goals
• The coverage and clarity of curriculum content
• The format, assessment table and weightings
• The clarity and coherence of the achievement standards
Each section of the questionnaire requires responses on a rating scale to key statements with an opportunity to include comments that focus on suggestions for improvement.

RATIONALE
The rationale provides clarity about the subject’s broad scope, distinctive nature and importance.
