Help us identify roles and priorities

The Forest Industry Workforce Development and Diversity Project is charged with developing and implementing actions under the Workforce Development Plan and the Diversity Action Plan. 

The TFFPN and Forest Hub are working with RMCG to clearly identify forest industry jobs, skills and careers now and into the future. Part of our strategy for building up the workforce is to clearly identify:
  • what roles are in-demand,
  • what skills are required for in-demand roles,
  • how people get into in-demand roles (career pathways), and
  • what roles will be in-demand in the near future.
Complete this survey and be part of the solution in helping our forest and wood products industry realise a vision of being an ‘industry of choice’ with a skilled workforce that supports industry development. The results of this survey will assist in identifying roles that are:
  • crucial for business
  • currently hard to fill,
  • will need more people in the future.
This survey will help us identify high-priority roles and will be followed by an invitation to participate in an interview about the skills needed for these high-priority roles.
