The organising committee is calling for presentations for Talking Teaching 2019: Diverse Learners, Inclusive Teaching, hosted by Unitec Institute of Technology, Auckland. Presentation proposals are due by 15th August, 2019 25th of August, 2019. Acceptance will be notified by 16th August for those people who submitted by that date, and on a rolling basis thereafter. 

Conference Focus
The Ako Aotearoa Academy of Tertiary Teaching Excellence is proud to present Talking Teaching 2019 - Diverse Learners, Inclusive Teaching, a two day conference on tertiary learning and teaching practice for the whole tertiary sector. Our eleventh annual conference will be held on 28 - 29 November and will draw a diverse range of leading teachers, academic developers, and educational leaders from around New Zealand, collaborating and contributing to a stimulating exchange of ideas and tips for the teacher’s toolkit. Attendees can expect a mix of oral presentations, panel presentations, small group debate discussion, workshops and knowledge cafés, as well as innovative contributions that defy easy classification. This conference is for everyone working in the tertiary sector, irrespective of their particular roles, and relevant to Universities, ITPs, ITOs, ACE, PTEs, REAPs and Wānanga.

Call for Presentations
The committee welcomes contributors to share their unique stories and experiences on any topic concerning inspirational and engaging tertiary teaching practice and scholarship, and particularly in relation to our theme of diversity and inclusion in teaching and training settings. Consistent with the conference theme, we welcome inspiring and engaging contributions of all kinds. Submissions are due by 15th August 2019.

Registration
The registration fee is $250+GST, with separate registration for the conference dinner on the 28th. Registration is an easy online process via the website.
