Take the Helm Flexible Funding Expression of Interest
The “Flexible Training” will provide women with opportunities to stretch themselves and to take on positions of leadership on and off the water or avail of professional coaching to advance their sailing, windsurfing or powerboating skills.
1. Applications can be accepted from Irish Sailing affiliated clubs, classes or centres only and not individual members.
2. Applications need to be received by 5th June 2020.
3. All training / coaching must take place and funding drawn down by 5th Nov 2020.
4. All Irish Sailing affiliated clubs, classes or accredited training centres may apply for one bursary for the period 2019 – 2020.
5. The bursary may only fund training for women and girls aged 16+.
There will be 24 bursaries of up to €400 available and bursaries will be allocated on a first-come basis and divided equally amongst Coaching, Powerboat / Safetyboat Training and Instructor Training
