BEC/SNAP Grantees Survey

Tablet and Connectivity Survey

NCOA is currently exploring a potential partnership that would allow us to distribute tablets to our enrollment partners. These tablets would be provided to our Benefits Enrollment Centers and Senior SNAP Enrollment Initiative Partners to complete BenefitsCheckUp screenings, and submit online applications for benefits. The responses to this survey will be used to understand the needs of our partners and how they could potentially use the tablets, if donated.
1.Would you be interested in receiving tablets for conducting BenefitsCheckUp screenings and submitting benefits applications online?
2.How many tablets would you need to support your NCOA funded outreach activities?
3.What type of outreach activities do you most anticipate using tablets for, ex. for home visits, at community health fairs, in your office?
4.How many volunteers do you have who are trained to do a BenefitsCheckUp screening on a mobile device?
5.Would you be able to train additional volunteers on how to use the tablets to complete a BCU screening?
6.What type of tablet connectivity would best meet your outreach needs?
7.Do you regularly conduct outreach activities in locations without WiFi available?
8.Does your agency already have a mobile hotspot?
9.If not, would your agency be able to purchase a hotspot to utilize a WiFi enabled tablet?
10.Would your agency be able to pay for cellular service to support a table with cellular connectivity?
11.Do you anticipate doing outreach activities in areas without cellular coverage?
