Council is excited to explore the development of a new community garden, in partnership with students from Karoonda Area School (Year 7-9 Pastoral Care Group). We are seeking your feedback on two proposed locations. Your input will help determine the preferred location and potential features for this community space.

Location 1: Pioneer Park (preferred)
  • 22 East Terrace Karoonda (near the main entrance - adjacent to the red tractor display)
  • This site has been identified due to its prominent location, accessibility and proximity to an existing water supply
Pioneer Park (preferred location)
Location 2: Karoonda Oval
  • Stokes Road, Karoonda (situated behind the existing water tanks).
  • This site has been identified due to its access to water infrastructure and visibility to the community.
