Mortgage Market Challenge Survey

Tanzania Mortgage Refinance Company (TMRC) is a private financial institution which is licensed and regulated by Bank of Tanzania. It is a Mortgage Liquidity Facility that provides long term funding to Financial Institutions for onward lending to individual customers. The main objective of TMRC is to provide long term funds for Financial Institutions to stimulate and grow mortgage market which will eventually increase home ownership in the country.
 
TMRC is carrying out a study to understand client’s knowledge on mortgage product to come up with possible challenges that affect mortgage product growth in the market.
