Photovoice Sessions will be offered as a hybrid model where the first and last sessions will be in person, Public Health of Canada guidelines permitting, and the remainder of sessions will be virtual via zoom. The first session will be a welcome session, providing a chance for participants to learn more about the program and ask questions, get their camera equipment, and sign up for one-on-one intake sessions and to discuss short- and long-term settlement goals with the Newcomer Program Coordinator. Kindly note that in order to complete the intake sessions, receive your graduation certificate and incentive from the program, we will require your Immigration Client ID that can be found on any immigration document such as: (Permanent Resident Card or Notice of Decision). This information will be used to help Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada to better manage planning, funding and identify of areas for improvement. This information collected will be treated confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone other than the Newcomer Program Coordinator.
